Dr. Crocker graduated in 1980 from the University Health Science Center, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Darnall Hospital in Texas. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has served as Medical Director at Brackenridge Hospital and Children's Hospital of Austin Emergency Departments since 1986. Currently he is a member of the SETON Healthcare Network Executive Board of Directors, Chairman of the Austin/Travis County EMS Quality Assurance Board, and Chairman of the Travis County Medical Society EMS Committee. In the past he has served as a Trauma Center Review Consultant for the American College of Surgeons, President of the SETON Network medical staff, and Chief of Staff at Brackenridge Hospital. He previously served as EM residency director, and as a Medical Director at SETON Emergency Department. He also served on the Texas state panel on Access to Indigent Care and on the Texas state panel on Access to Psychiatric Care.
