Rhett A. Reed, M.D., F.A.C.E.P.

Dr. Reed received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1989. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center in 1992. He received a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University in 1985. Dr. Reed was an attending emergency physician at The University Medical Center at Brackenridge and Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas (and previously Children’s Hospital of Austin) for 17 years. Dr Reed is currently the Medical Director of the Emergency Department and Chief of Staff at Seton Medical Center Hays. He is also the Trauma Medical Director for Seton Medical Center Hays. He serves on multiple hospital committees for Seton Medical Center Hays and The Seton Family of Hospitals. Dr. Reed is also the medical director for the Texas Division of Acadian Ambulance Service, Inc.
